Blas Festival Fun Day

Saturday 1st September, 11am - 3pm, Spectrum Centre, Inverness.

Get a taste for Blas Festival with taster sessions for kids in music, language, storytelling and visual arts plus yummy healthy food workshops! Learn a quick tune or pick up some Gaelic, listen to stories and make your own fruit smoothies and fruit kebabs!

Children of all ages welcome to join the Blas Party and help celebrate and explore Highland and Gaelic culture! No need for previous music or language experience! Please let us know you're coming - phone Kirstie on 07917785462 or email Kirstie@gaelic-arts.com.

The event is being held in the Spectrum Centre from 11am - 3pm and the day's events will follow this outline

11am - music and song sessions

12 - storytelling, with essie steward

1pm - more music and song

2pm - healthy highland food and drink workshops from stirrin's stuff - educating children on how to make fun fruit smoothies and other yummy foods!

Throughout the day and artworker will be on hand working with children between sessions to produce a mural celebrating Gaelic and Highland culture that will be used as part of the Blas festival.
