7th : Connemara Ness Link Re-kindled

A group of young folk from Connemara will be descending on Ness at the end of July to take part in workshops and to learn about island culture. The Ness Connemara link goes back to 1999 when a large group of Nisich went over to the Emerald Isle on an exchange which saw the birth of Cèilidh san Iar Thuath and indeed Taigh Dhonnchaidh in the year 2000...

13th : Gaelic Arts Agency Shortlisted For a Scottish Event Of TheYear Award

Gaelic arts agency, Proiseact Nan Ealan (PNE), has been shortlisted for a major national award for their ‘Na Mo Chuid Aodaich’ fashion shows.
