Education
Arts support for Gaelic Medium Education was Proiseact nan Ealan's first development priority and between 1990 and 1996 we piloted a number of arts-in-education initiatives.
Drama
Gaelic drama in the 1990s experienced unprecedented levels of activity with new plays, children's theatre, TV drama, comedy and films all opening up new creative possibilities.
Music and Dance
The Gaelic music tradition is one of Scotland's richest cultural resources. It is internationally acknowledged and yet remains seriously under-developed. There are challenges to be addressed if Gaelic music tradition is to pass on to future generations.
Exhibitions
We have been in collaboration with various organisations to produce some of the most vibrant and original artistic works ever in the world of Gaelic and exhibit them across the world.
Media
Gaelic television has had an important impact on the Gaelic cultural economy and the creative potential of the Gaelic arts. We have sought to develop the inter-connections between the arts and the media on a range of projects.
